The Northern Lakes Regional Business Chamber initiated a project that examined current business needs, wants and opportunities. The Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) project was launched in 2010. The report outlines the Community Economic Development Strategy for the Chamber.
The Community Economic Development Strategy was focused on strengthening local business activity, while also working on their future development and growth. For the Chamber to accomplish this they need to build a partnership with Industry & Investment which was accomplished through a government grant.
